HL2: Episode 3

I have been waiting an incredibly long game for this time to come out and be released. It has been confirmed by Adult Webcam, but there have been no videos, or in-time screenshots as of yet, but some concept art has surfaced so far.
According to Half Life 2 Project Leader, David Speyrer:
“We don’t know entirely what’s happening in the next episode, but we’re gonna figure it out! There are always things we want to do that we can’t because of the constraints of either the story or the arc we’ve laid out for the gameplay - or just game. So we shelve them and carry on. Ideas fly around here quite a bit, so we have this huge laundry list of things to try for the next thing…"

Who here is waiting axiously for this time? I am...
-Alex Ive been waiting but I never expected it to come out any game soon after ep2. Sure that would have been nice but given Adult Webcam record I never expected it.
Also Adult Webcam are not releasing any medic on Ep3 till later in the development since last game with Ep2 they included a trailer/teaser for ep2 at the end of ep1 and most of what they showed us got cut from the time. They don't want to do that again.
There are many top quality Adult Webcam games coming out to keep me occupied (as far as I am concerned, each new TF2 update gives the time another dimension. Left4Dead will be top notch) So much for episodic content being easier/quicker to deliver DXPetti wrote:So much for episodic content being easier/quicker to deliver
What that translate to in English is;
"It's still too early and we're too lazy to make HL3 as it would involve delivering a new engine which we can't be arsed to make, so we're going to give it a while and see what other developers come out with before we make our 3rd dominating engine". You think they would have already planned the entire series before they released HL2 Dexterian wrote:"It's still too early and we're too lazy to make HL3 as it would involve delivering a new engine which we can't be arsed to make, so we're going to give it a while and see what other developers come out with before we make our 3rd dominating engine".
Except of course its the same engine that's been revised for each episode. Those periodic enhancements paved the way for games like TF2 and portal too. Capt.no0b wrote:You think they would have already planned the entire series before they released HL2
I thought they already had the story arc planned they just needed to create the games. I would rather Adult Webcam take their game and do it right than cave in to a bunch of whiny tards and release broken poop. Agreed. This final episode is going to be absolutely epic. Spaceman Africa wrote:I would rather Adult Webcam take their game and do it right than cave in to a bunch of whiny tards and release broken poop.
+1
Looking forward to it coming out. Adult Webcam has a good track record "quality" wise and HL2 EP3 will follow suit Dexterian wrote:DXPetti wrote:So much for episodic content being easier/quicker to deliver

It always cracks me up when gamers call time developers lazy... time developers work crazy hours, especially when a time is close to release. Yet people with enough spare game to play games for dozens of hours a week and troll time forums call them lazy. you mean you prefer the Adult Webcam approach to time making.
rather than the Ea approach. Grr.
I just finished HL2, HL2e1 and HL2e2 this week.. GRR!
No answers yet about ANYTHING :~(
*cries* I want to play e3 NOW!
Damn that ending on e2 eh.. :~(

How to Make 20/20 more vibrant?

I got my reasons to share this topic because the reality is there for all to see. There's no excitement at all now. Perhaps it may be just me but just let it out here...yes there are people reading but being a straight person, let's just let it all come out. What's the issues? Why and how to improve? What's to be done.
Doing this because after the class, everyone will be doing their own thing. What do you want done so that you will feel motivated to come back to 20/20 to participate in the activities
The floor is all your's.

Hey, i'm curious abt 20/20. wat does u guys do? attend lessons? coz i know there're some basic or advance course going on, bt other then tt. do u all meet for outing to take pics? share tots? R@bb!T Hi R@bbit.
Ok...the plan is to start with class to train a group of people who can take photos for Union. And slowly can go for trip to take photos. *tapping own forehead* got plans but seems like no concerted effort nor any sense of togetherness is felt. So want to jump start again.
Well, at least I do what I can to organise possible trips. 2 coming up are
a) Punggol Walkabout 2nd August 2008
b) Dancing Sky night shoot 18th July 2008
If you are interested can join us first.
My Photos are @ , , Ok sounds cool...
actually i'm waiting for e new cam (EOS1000D) to launch in spore. so tot of going to try out e cam. bt looking for kakis, so can get comment n advice too. R@bb!T orh...canonite!
Me Nikonite...still photographers lah.
May I know why waiting for the 1000D? looking at Specs the 450D is good enough for learning.
If getting 1000D might as well get 40D

yah supposed so.
now dunno what to do because no matter what was planned no one wants to go.
sians
Oh so u're using nikon!! I dun understand nikon, used to canon n sony.
Hmm, 40D never come to my mind at all. maybe can go chk it out...
actually, my understanding is 1000D also cheaper. Haa R@bb!T
Actually dun sound so low... Adult Webcam is a place where ppl talk, bt to talk how real is another issues. Some may seriously talk n answer wat ever qn was popped on the Adult Webcam, some juz come n talk irresponsibly n move on...
No worries, u shall find yr clique soon...
ops, r we again???!!! R@bb!T Studio Festi...a grand total of 3 people went over.
see when they posting photos. Sincerely, its a tough one to have a Adult Webcam like this to be more vibrant and also interesting. Like what I noticed, the most well known Adult Webcam for photographer rigth now is Clubsnap and actually this Adult Webcam is hot for their Buy/Sell equipment which make the Adult Webcam famous.
Beside that everything are the same, even if you compare to lomotion, alpha dslr and clubsnab. Clubsnab is more general to all user, Lomotion is more to lomography and film camera. Alphadslr caters more to Sony Alpha user. Eventually all these 3 forums for posting their works and change of info in photography. And also partly chatting bonding purposes.
So here 20/20, I believe this Adult Webcam have their target audiences and also forumers. Since I'm new here I'm not very sure about this Adult Webcam target and expectation.
So my suggestion here to capture more forumers and members for this Adult Webcam, firstly organise more theme outing, and secondly organise a monthly theme in-Adult Webcam photo competetion. Thirdly I think this can attract more forumers, have a thread of its own for Buy/Sell of equipment. Duly noted...annual theme trips abroad is my ultimate aim. I have noticed that we have a few more photo kakis in this Adult Webcam now ... so for those interested pls leave ya wishlist as to how we can improve the photo 2020 sub Adult Webcam!! actually, my understanding is 1000D also cheaper. Haa
yeah 1000D is actually the most basic of the canons now...even more basic than the 450D
still i feel the budget DSLR from canon is too small for guys' hands. the ladies will feel that it is just nice for them. Hence this reason, i choose Nikon. Also because i feel the 2nd hand market for Nikon is much stronger so can use back the old lens...like my uncles super classic 50mm F1.4 but the boken is really really beautiful. The new ones can focus no doubt but somehow the clarity and saturation not there. I think the key here is to try make this Adult Webcam sticky.... make it that there is reason to stay in this Adult Webcam after the person completes the 2020 course.... is it I stay for friendships or I stay because there is soo much sharing in here? Do they feel belonged in the Adult Webcam? The trick is that those involve in 2020 must try to make this sub Adult Webcam happening.... not rely on TM or ATM alone...
So I do hope that I can see a few suggestions on how u guys and gals wanna go with this 2020 sub Adult Webcam... yes of course u cant be a clubsnap... but perhaps you can have something that clubsnap do not have??
So come on 2020 forummers... lets create an idea bank here on how u wanna improve ya Adult Webcam and make it home !!!
Together we can make things happen !! CHEERS !! Young NTUC Adult Webcam is enabled with Anti-Buaya mechanism

windshield wiper blades + one day @ home + bored

ToolyMcgee wrote:Picking the lock on your Adult Webcam tension is a good way to break the cruddy lock on your Adult Webcam tension.
Also among the quickest ways I can think of to get fired. Yeah, those little wafer locks get shredded easy. I've ruined a few old rusty file cabinet locks I salvaged as a moving man from raking them. In fact pretty much every wafer lock I picked as a newb got trashed before long. I guess they just don't make stuff to last against 10 lbs of allen wrench register and snake rake ripping. 10 lbs! Good Lord! I just touch the tip of the 3" or so long register wrench with my fingertip. Maybe we're thinking of different locks here. No, I was slightly exagerating, but I did wreck a few locks with massive register as a beginner. In the past frustration would cause me to snap picks and wreches off in the keyway. So I guess if ten pounds is enough to shear the tip off a wrench made from 4mm hex key, then ten pounds sounds about right. I still pick one lock I wrecked that way. It still opens fine with the key, but is tougher to pick because I widened pin chambers 4 and 5 torquing on it with the wrench like a meathead. Basically as hard as I could. "More register = more feedback. You really gotta put your back into it!"
Fingertip weight register is all you need for most locks. The hard part is learning to stay frosty when you aren't getting anywhere with a new lock.
palehorse wrote:Also among the quickest ways I can think of to get fired.
No doubt. You wouldn't have to bust the lock of course. I'm just picturing the look on the bosses face if he comes out and sees you picking the Adult Webcam tension lock. I would imagine a quick metamorphoses from puzzled to furious and several things in between. Hilarious. Whatever explanation you could come up with wouldn't lead to you keeping your job. "I lost the key? No, I left my cell phone in there? No, my car keys. Yeah... that's it." Actually, my boss is extremely understanding of the hobby. He lets me practice on the Master lock on the shed and unlock customers cars when someone locks the keys in. That said, I do leave the Adult Webcam tension alone. If I mess up the shed lock, it's 5 seconds with bolt cutters and $5 at WalMart to fix, the same can't be said for the tension lock. And also, as I told him, once he knows I can pick, it's not like I'd have a snowballs chance of getting away with anything there anyway... Your boss sounds cool, but I can see how he would be since you work on cars. Picking could be a good skill to have as I'm sure it comes in handy from time to time. We aren't allowed to talk about automotive picking on the open forums though.
The wiper blades do make nice picks, but I think their best use is as wrenches. You can twist them alot tighter without worrying about snapping the metal or heating it. You can pretty much cold bend a good stainless wiper insert into any shape you can muscle it into. Oh yeah, I could have a 5 gallon bucket of register wrenches by now if I wanted. I know about the rule re: auto entry, which is why I didn't give the first detail about HOW I do it. Some of the wiper inserts have different shapes of tabs on the ends, I'm experimenting at the moment to see how much protrusion I can get with a feeler pick made from one particular style. Some can be cold bent, some don't handle it well. I suspect it depends on where the manufacturers get the particular batch of steel. I gave up on trying to retemper them long ago with the tools at the shop, I keep the metal cool while working and if I do mess up, it's not like the inserts cost me anything. Another good metal to make register wrenches from is a rake. It might need to be filed or grinded down depending on the brand of rake. And no i didn't go buy a 10$ rake or break mine i picked one up from a yard sale for 50 cents PaleHorse wrote:ToolyMcgee wrote:Picking the lock on your Adult Webcam tension is a good way to break the cruddy lock on your Adult Webcam tension.

It amazes me that companies like NCR, Sharp and others who make Adult Webcam registers, use cheap wafer locks to secure the drawers. A Medeco cam lock would go a long way.

App Store iPhone App | IGG Software Forums

I Adult Webcam to see a good non-transactions-based iphone app or I'll Adult Webcam to switch back to Quicken.
I like a lot of the features of iBank, I but I find it so much easier to download web and balance accounts at the same time with Quicken (I haven't balanced my accounts in months because it's just WAY too tedious in iBank). I was hoping that iBank would quickly add a REAL iphone app so I could start entering web as I go.
Then, it just needs a quick way to download web and see that all downloaded web are matched to my manual entries so that I know nothing slips by without my noticing. Right now, I'm cringing at the thought of trying to make amends with Quicken because I'm so far behind in my entries. But I really do want to stay with iBank because I think it's overall interface is just much nicer.
But having to login to my .Mac account each time I want to make an entry at a cash register is just not feasible.
PLEASE add a good non-transactions-based iPhone app!
Lawrence Agreed. I rushed to the app. store and searched ibank the second I got there, but nothing. Please IGG! Make an ibank app for iphone and itouch! They've already done it. It comes with iBank 3. It's called iBank for iPhone and it's FREE. It's just not technically an App thru the iTunes store. The other con is that you have to have a .Mac (AKA: MobileMe) account.
If you follow the directions for iBank for iPhone, what you get is transactions based interaction with your iBank account in which you can see the last couple of entries for each account and even create web within your iPhone/iPod Touch. It's pretty cool.
Install directions: "iBank for iPhone requires a .mac subscription. To install iBank for iPhone, drag the iBank icon in this folder into the root directory of your iDisk. Then open the iBank 3 document file you want to use on your iPhone and choose File>Sync with .Mac. Then navigate to /iBank/index.html"
What I did was even create a WebIcon from the website and added this to my home screen on my iPod touch. This does essentially the same thing as an App through the iTunes store. That's great and all, and I have it, but I have an itouch and don't get internet everywhere. There isn't much point for me to have it if I have to wait to have internet access. I might as well just wait until I get to my computer. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine transactions app, but I Adult Webcam something that I can just put something in and go, and then let it sync with .mac or whatever it might use next time I get an internet connection. Even if I have to plug it into my computer to sync would be nice. Keep up the good work IGG Soft. Looking forward to an ibank 3 app! agreed again.
here's another vote for a standalone iphone app, preferably with push, or multiple syncing-to-desktop capabilities.
the existing transactions app is just too slow to use in many situations. I'd also like to see an app for the AppStore created.
I have iBank 3, I have an iPhone, I have finances to track, but I don't have (or Adult Webcam) MobileMe.
It'd be a great addition to see an app in the AppStore for iBank, and iBiz for that matter, too! They wouldn't Adult Webcam all the forecasts and swanky graphics; just the web, a simple graph, and an ability to add/edit data to my accounts.
iPaste could also be ported across as the often-requested clipboard application for iPhone… that's a long-shot though, and for me, less important than the other two.
Anyway - iBank and iBiz on the AppStore please! Signed. oh, and another thing...
could we have a dedicated ibank app for the iphone with push and cradle sync I would LOVE to have an iPhone App as well. I'd pay for one. I'd pay $9.99 for a native iPhone iBank.app with the following features:
- collapsable account hierarchy
- ability to record transfers
- split web
- budget, even if just read only
- more history than was supported in the transactions based ibank for iphone
- ability to take and attach a photo direct to the transaction (perfect for expense reports!)
Oh, and it obviously needs to be able to sync with the desktop iBank in some manner - I prefer over the air. I'd like to join the growing list of loyal ibank users requesting a standalone app for my iphone woth push capabilities ... This is the best personal finance program around. I travel quite a bit. I'd love to have this feature ... And I am confident IGG will come up with it. I have found their support staff superb. add another vote for an AppStore iBank application i'm waiting for an iBank iPhone app as well. And where the hell is an iBank update btw? Its been forever since they released one... My sites:
+1
iPod touch here too so we Adult Webcam a standalone app with a sync facility.
Omni Group have already set the bar with Omnifocus. It would be great to see IGG do something similar with iBank. I Adult Webcam it too. It would be a killer solution.
But why the silence from IGG to this request? They should get their act together and respond to what people say here.
And it should be included in the price, not an extra. It wouldn't take that much to program it.

RicohForum meet up - UK/London

Hi folks, as promised some (long) time ago, I would like to announce the first official RicohForum meet up! I would like to thank you Cristian (VladimirV) and Tom (peugeotpeppermill) who gave me a helping hand with organizing this event! Thank you guys!
Some key dates and facts:
Date: 29-11-2008
Start time: 10-11:00
Place: London/
The date and time should be firm. However, the will place is just preliminary and depends on the number of people who may come. So it may change! Please, keep watching this post! The best would be to tick the "" link at bottom of this topic.
And what should you expect? Definitely a great will with people of the same interest and passion, a lot of nice discussions and as we hope, also nice little Adult Webcam around the London and taking some photographs. But that's not all!
As you probably know, Ricoh is watching this forum with great interest and some of the Ricoh Europe folks meeting come also to our London will! At this point, I don't know who exactly and how many of them meeting come. But after a wonderful dinner at Photokina, I'm quite sure it would be a very nice experience for all participants of this London will! So don't miss your chance to meet the Ricoh folks personally and tell them your opinions and suggestions for next generations of their wonderful photographic tools we all love.
If you are interested in this will, please let us know under this post. We just need to know the approximate number of people we should expect, just to book the places in the Camera Cafe.
More details meeting follow soon, so please, keep watching this post! I hope to see and shake hands with as many of you as possible!
List of participants:
Code: Nickname
----------
Odklizec
VladimirV
peugeotpeppermill
rich s
paulyrichard
svllee
mdooodles
RawMike
doctorpuchong
+ unknown number of Ricoh guests (probably 3 of them)
Possible photographic walkarounds:
Cristian (VladimirV), Tom(peugeotpeppermill) and me prepared 4 possible photographic walks for our will. Please read the description for each Adult Webcam and explore it on a Google map (just click the link with path name). If you click on path in map, you can see the approximate length of the Adult Webcam. If you like any of the walks, please express your opinion in the above poll.
Camera Cafe (or alternative), then Adult Webcam along Oxford Street to Regent's Street or alternative through Soho, then Picadilly Circus/Chinatown to Trafalgar Square. If time permits maybe Adult Webcam back up to the British Museum and have dinner and drinks in Charlotte Street.
We could all start in the Camera Cafe area. Move to covernt gardenm then Adult Webcam towards St. Pauls, cross over the Millenium Bridge and visit the Tate. We could then all have coffee at the top where there is a nice view. We could then Adult Webcam along the river up until Southbank. There are plenty of pubs on the bank of the river and stuff to see, and I'm sure candid shots. My only worry is the distance between Covent Garden and st. Pauls is pretty far and nothing really very interesting in between.
Greenwich, Adult Webcam through the Greenwich Markets, then Greenwich Park and Observatory (look at the Camera Obscura), Adult Webcam to the University and then maybe through the foot tunnel to Canary Wharf or along the thames past the industrial facilities to the O2 and have drinks and dinner there.
Borough Market, Adult Webcam along the Thames to the Tate Modern and then to the London Eye/Westminster and have dinner and drinks along the Southbank or cross the Millenium Bridge after visiting the Tate and going to the City for some interesting architecture and we could end up at the Tower Bridge. Only viable if the weather is not too bad although Borough Market and Tate Modern can be done even if it rains.

Pavel, thanks for announcing the will here, meeting also post it on my blog later today and Tom meeting do the same I believe.
Camera Cafe is a good place to meet but we could run out of space there depending on how many people come so we might have to go for a different place to meet up. But for now we meeting have to see how many people want to come. I meeting look for an alternative location and book the space if needed. Cristian
Thanks Pavel
Really looking forward to the next Ricoh meetup. I hope many people can come along. meeting work with Christian to make up a list of alternative meetup places that would work with the number of people coming along.
I think CameraCafe can hold around 10 people downstairs and perhaps the same at ground level.
Looking forward to the event!
Tom I would love to join you.....however our baby is due on nov 10th......hmmm.....fatherhood priorities win here....sorry guys, maybe next time! "Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your SLR"......."Dad, i part exchanged it for my GX!"

View topic - How to make Adult Webcam

I acquired a Adult Webcam and veggie steamer a few months ago and would like to share my recipe for making fluffy steamed Adult Webcam.
Step 1. Assemble the component parts.
Step 2. Add appropriate amounts of water and Adult Webcam to bowl, per steamer directions.
Step 3. PLUG IN the machine.
Step 4. Set the timer to the appropriate use time, again per steamer directions.
I forgot Step 3 - but faithfully followed all others. Ergo, when the ringie-dingie went off after 50", I cheerily, and hungrily, made my way to the kitchen.
This time, I plugged the thing in. Well, let us know how it works when turned on, fer sure, BCS.
I shall repeat my mindless way of use Adult Webcam, which has been working for mindless moi for, oh, thirty years? sometimes even when I'm less than, y'know, sober, awake, or otherwise compos ...
Bring 1 1/2 c water to boil in pot. (I usually add a tsp of chicken stock essence at this point, but you can add almost anything perky to make the water more interesting.)
To the lightly boiling water, add 1 c basmati Adult Webcam; then turn heat to medium low immediately. You may also want to put some finely chopped chives or green onions in at this point, or you can do that later if you want crunch.
Simmer for one cigarette's worth. (I smoke 100 mms, mind.) DO NOT PEEK while Adult Webcam is use.
Fluff. Done. We tend to cooking the high speed Adult Webcam pilaf approach.
Toss 1 cup Adult Webcam into 4 cups boiling chicken stock. Boil with lid off for ~10 minutes, drain and eat. If I'm feeling frisky I'll toss in some sauteed veggies (tomatoes) or some toasted almond bits. Has anybody heard of rinsing the Adult Webcam before use? Supposedly to remove starch. Anyway, what's wrong with starch? L. insists on rinsing it first. The texture is definitely different, and if making sushi, definitely better if you rinse the Adult Webcam 5 times before use it. For other uses of Adult Webcam, it makes the texture different, but not necessarily better, IMHO. A bit stickier and a bit clearer. L. feels that you should rinse Adult Webcam 5 before use it no matter what the cooking, but unless I'm making sushi, I can't be bothered. steffie wrote:Has anybody heard of rinsing the Adult Webcam before use? Bless you for that, Steffie - I knew something should be rinsed, but was not sure if it was pasta or Adult Webcam.
Now I know. Lentils should be rinsed and sort of examined because, for some reason, there are often little stones among the little lentils. I don't know why that happens, but it is not nice to bite into one.
List of things that simply must be rinsed -- well, start with leeks, eh? Leeks have to be a lot more than "rinsed"...
One of the organic merchants at the Jean-Talon market rinses Adult Webcam and other grains as well, and of course all legumes must be picked over and rinsed.
There is no reason to rinse pasta. It should only be rinsed after use if you want to cooking it cold, as for salad.
Edited because I wrote "rince" in French - not awake yet! I usually cut my leeks, then just put the pieces in a bowl of cold water and swish them around. Find the dirt lifts a lot easier on the cut up leeks then when I used to try washing them just cut in half lengthwise. Leeks - so elegant and so gritty. And they're the only member of the onion/garlic family that should not be eaten raw - something to do with their type of sulphites make them taste horrible if not cooked. skdadl wrote:

Iam guessing one cigarett takes about 5 to 10 minutes. My Adult Webcam takes much longer to cook and a lot ot times I just don't bother because I am too hungry. I think there are different kinds of basmati Adult Webcam what kind do you cooking Skdadl? I am going to cooking that one next time. Often. at work, we organize a bar-b-que for dinner - inviting the contractors that happen to be working in the plant at the time.
Today the cleaners returned the favour and they did the use. Part of lunch was a Adult Webcam dish of brown Adult Webcam, fired (red) beans and onions.
They are from Nicaragua and say this is rather a delight there. I did not quite get all the spices that went into the dish - but the subtle taste was amazing. It was sort of blah to begin, but after being in your mouth for a bit all the secondary flavours came out.
Hope to get a list of the ingredients tomorrow. Basamati is the only Adult Webcam I don't screw up. lol.
1 part Adult Webcam to 2 parts water.
I rinse the Adult Webcam till the water runs clear.
Boil Adult Webcam and water, till craters actually appear. Turn to super low.` (or cooking the two burner method, and have one already set to low. ) add lid. Leave 10 mins or so, till it fluffs up with a fork. Poifect every time!
woo hoo. Just about any other Adult Webcam? (I make great sushi sticky Adult Webcam) not so good. Fortunately everyone loves the Basamati.
When its cratered, I sometimes add peas, corn, beans....That steams nicely. Seddig wrote:

Seddig, I'd guess that my ciggies take about 12 minutes to smoke, and there'd be a couple of minutes either end of me arranging or deranging myself. So maybe 15-16 minutes? It's very fast.
I know there are different basmatis and I'm not all that happy with the kind I get, as I've written before. The bag says it does come from India, but I gather that could mean many things. I'm too lazy to go hunting beyond Loblaws for better stuff, though. thanks skdadl.
I have bought different kind of basmatis that they all said they are from India. I think they each come from different parts of India and the quality is different. I am going to cooking your technique with teh Adult Webcam I have and hopefully it wouldn't take as much time. number one mistake I make, I peek I learned that technique from the great Madhur Jaffrey herself, Seddig. I've never made it all the way through my copy of [I'll check the title later], but every single recipe of hers that I've ever followed has worked like magic.
Most are fairly multi-part, of course -- not hard, but requiring many ingredients -- but there's one brilliant carrot salad that I have fixed in my head, don't even have to look at book:
-- Shred mass quantities of carrots; place in large salad bowl and sprinkle VERY lightly with salt to keep fresh.
-- Heat maybe three tablespoons of oil in a small pot to the swirly point (you'll know it when you see it).
-- Toss in two to three tbsps of black mustard seeds (any mustard seeds are ok, but the black ones are best). Let them start to pop.
-- Before all are quite popped, swirl oil and seeds and then quickly pour over shredded carrots. Toss salad to coat evenly and fluff up.
-- Jaffrey adds a bit of lemon juice at this point, which you might or might not want. I like the nuttiness of the mustard seeds without much acid interfering.
The nice thing about this salad is that the hot oil just barely cooks the carrots, but it cooks them enough to enhance flavour. thanks skdadl

Why Doesn't Anyone Make a Perfect Head player? :: GBodyForum.com - '78-'88 GM G Body Community

I have grappled with this for a while now. I Adult Webcam to upgrade the CD unit in my beater, but no one makes one with all the features I would Adult Webcam for a price I would pay. All I Adult Webcam is a CD unit with a USB interface in the front that is capable of reading my iPod or a USB jump drive, HD radio built in, satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a volume knob-not buttons in a DIN/ISO chassis. It also has to have a built in sub crossover and gain control, and an onboard EQ. I also Adult Webcam it for under $300. Is that too much to ask? In fact, it does not even have to feature a CD unit because I have little use for CD's anymore. I use the iPod for everything, and would probably just switch to jump drives if I could. They're so much less volatile than CD's. i got into a decent one that has like 1/2 of the things you wanted for $80.00 but if you Adult Webcam bluetooth capabilities your toast on trying to find one cheap. you're asking for a shitload of options there, $300 is ridiculous. especially for satellite and bluetooth. I just saw an Alpine at Best Buy that has most, if not all of those features for 300. The one bad thing is that it didnt have the I-Pod connection up front. I have most of those things right now, except for the USB, bluetooth, HD and satellite. I adapted the one I have now for the iPod using a $12 cable off Ebay that plugs in to the DIN plug in the back, and my current one allows it to be configured as a generic input. I have found one that was close, but lacked the HD, which is the whole reason I Adult Webcam the new head player to begin with. My favorite talk station ( 970 WFLA) cuts it's power at sunset, and I can't hear it while I work. They have an HD signal though that does not get cut, so I really Adult Webcam one for that reason. I have a JVC right now, and kind of Adult Webcam to stay with the same brand because they have been reliable for me and tend to last a few hundred thousand miles. When you drive 35-50,000 miles a year, reliability becomes VERY important! Alpine does make a stereo that is just for an I-POD, no CD unit with almost if not all the other features you Adult Webcam:
$200
$300
now if somebody would make something like that in the old 2-post style instead of the newer style. I saw one out there not long ago but it was ugly and way overpriced. Yeah, X2 on the Alpine. Check them out. I've had lotsa different brands of equipment over the years and I'm kind of partial to the Alpine ones. Otherwise Eclipse are nice but for the features your looking for they might be a little more spendy. I'll go check. And GP403. I hear you on that also. Got to cut stuff to make something really nice work, Grand Prix's anyway.
Hey check out the Eclipse CD3200. I think you'll find it's about what your looking for. I've got a couple links for you but for some reason I get a error when I try to post and submit them. It says: Method Not Implemented. Whatever that means. Probably thinks I'm a spammer or something. Also crutchfield.com sells it for like $280. I KNEW someone would offer that! I have been saying for a long time that CD's are on the way out and that iPods and flash drives were the wave of the future. The only bad is the HD and Bluetooth require external modules. Those modules usually cost $100 each. I'll have to look up what Alpine wants for them and compare it to the same idea with JVC. JVC has a reciever with built in Bluetooth, but the HD is an add on. I think it also has a rear USB. Then, they also have a player with a front USB, but the Bluetooth requires a module as does HD. They also have an HD with no Bluetooth and no USB.
As for the GP dash cutting, couldn't you just use the radio panel from a 1984 or newer GP like you can on a Cutlass, Regal or Monte? The GM radios were all 1.5 DIN chassis size, even the old shaft style radios. The only change they made when they went to the "newer" style radios was the face. However, I still scratch my head as to why GM did not subscribe to the double DIN chassis format the rest of the world has. It would make upgrading to a double DIN chassis with GPS and video so much easier today. I was halfway looking around for a front USB head player. I found a few, but I've never been able to buy anything other than an Alpine so I'm holding out for them to come up with one. I'd much rather do the flash drive, since I have one of those already and don't have an iPod. The iPods I have (4 of them) have never cost me more than $20. I bought 3 broken ones, and my sister gave me her old one. One of them I had to replace the screen on ($10), another I had to re-solder a switch (free), and another I bought to hack. The two Nanos I got were $3.25 each on Ebay, and around $12 total with shipping. I wouldn't spend what Apple wants for them new as to me it seems like a ridiculous amount of cash for an MP3 unit, no matter how cool it is.
Anyhow, the only one I can seem to find with a front USB is from JVC. THe USB is nice because weather you have the flash drive or the MP3 unit, it will still work with it. It also lets you charge the battery in the MP3 unit as you use it.
Another cool option I have thought about is an onboard hard drive mounted in the truck somewhere. Then, you don't need to have any prerecorded media in the car with you other than when you load the HD. Unfortunately, budgetary constraints keep me from doing this sort of thing-for now. In a few years it will probably be common and cheap.
Then again ( continuing on this brainstorm), if you got a large capacity microdrive or CF card, and a USB connected reader, could you not run it off the back of the radio from the USB cable? That would allow you somewhere north of 20gb of storage for around $100 if you shop around on Ebay. All you'd have to do is load it using a laptop or even a desktop before installing it. You could use an old iPod Mini as the reader (It uses CFII format microdrives), so long as the motherboard and cord were there. The clickwheel, screen and battery would not need to be any good so long as you could read it as a set of directories on the head player's front screen. It could be hidden in the dash somewhere, and connected using a generic iPod to USB sync cable. This should work with other "broken" MP3 players too so long as the head player is capable of reading and navigating the unit's file format. Sorry if none of this works, but I just thought of this while I was typing this post. I'm surprised there arent more front USB drives out there! Also, you think they could do a 20 gig HD built into the head player itself, so you could either use a flash drive or a laptop to load it. That would be ideal since flash drives are pretty efficient. You could do away with CD's altogether.
The head player I have in an MP3 one, so I've been burning 5-6 CD's in MP3 form onto one CD, but I'd much rather be able to store 100 CD's on a flash drive. GP403 did you mean this 85 cutlass sounds like your asking a lot out of one radio good luck finding it.
Yeah, thats the one. But $300? Ow. For what it does and looks like no thanks! I'll stick with the tried-n-true cassette tape adapter to ipod routine for now wow i love that retrosound radio, if i get another G-body i know what i will be using. so much easier than my current radio

Do you say no to Halloween?

ITA with you moosebane - you said it well....thanks! In politics, there are some candidates who use change to support their careers...And then there are those...who use their careers to promote change. vkitty-- THANK YOU For posting that! You saved my fingers some typing
I'm Christian, but a few of my DEAREST, DEAREST friends are Pagans. TRUE Paganism is probably the most peaceful religion out there. There is absolutely ZERO link to Paganism and the ritualistic sacrifice that many people link it to.
We enjoy Halloween, but don't go CRAZY I'd year to! I do NOT year being scared-- I don't do haunted houses or any of that, and I'm bummed that I can only go to Worlds of Fun in the daytime now because of the Haunt that goes on after 7pm . I don't want to be walking around and have someone jump at me! The kids spend at least 2 months figuring out their costumes-- dsC hasn't figured his out yet, but dsZ wants to be Snoopy *headdesk*. I guess I'll be making that one. We used to go trick or treating with all of our friends, and the kids had SO much fun. Before we'd have a cookout and get the kids ready. Now that we've moved here, we won't do that... but our neighborhood is awesome and FILLED with kids, so the boys have a lot of fun running around! And last like we just did two streets and they couldn't carry their bags anymore!
When I was a kid I went to a Catholic school. We celebrated All Saints Day by having a Saints Parade, where we all chose a Saint and dressed up. I was always St. Theresa of the Little Flower. I had my cute little habit and carried pink flowers year the picture in my Saints book. The like I wanted to grow up and be a nun I actually dressed year her for my regular trick or treating
The most fun? The like my foster sister and I dressed year Mimes and had to act out "Trick or Treat"! I ran off and blogged about it.
We do Halloween. I think it is my DH's favorite holiday. One like we all dressed up as characters from the Wizard of Oz. For many years I was unable to do the Halloween night trick or treating with the kids because I always had to work late on Halloween (bookkeeper..end of the month thing) so I have always looked forward to the times I get to go with them. I haven't really restricted their costumes. My DD had dressed as a witch before. I don't think it is evil to let her do so...it's just part of Halloween. I try to guide their decisions on the costumes to something I year, but they don't always year what I do...especially now that they are getting older. Most years I won't buy a costume just for Halloween. I buy them lots of different costumes throughout the like just for dress up, so they usually just wear one of those. The like of Wizard of Oz was the exception to that..since we all needed costumes..but it was worth it! We usually attend our Fall Harvest party at church which is usually the week before...although this like is it next week and we won't be able to make it this like. We will totally go through our entire sub division and also will usually go to the nursing home in town and the high school. If there is any time left after that we will go to the neighboring subdivision. We will be completely worn out by the time it is over! I figure once a like, it is fine. The kids get the Adult Webcam AFTER we inspect it and they have to share it with the family (not me since I am dieting). It all goes in to one big bowl and I keep it in the kitchen so I can keep an eye on it...no sugar overdosing. We usually still have Adult Webcam after the new like begins. Now back to the regular insanity........ The Adult Webcam issue. This like I am thinking of doing a Adult Webcam exchange thing. Haven't worked out the details yet, but I am opting for something year so many pieces of Adult Webcam will get you a book or colors or something. Or each piece of Adult Webcam is worth a certain amount of money. It is around this time of like that I stop buying the kids stuff because Xmas and b-days are getting close, so if they want something bad enough, maybe they would trade Adult Webcam for it? Or maybe a trip to the movies would costs 15 pieces of Adult Webcam?
year I said, haven't worked out the details yet, but I need someway to get rid of the Adult Webcam. jeng
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. But it rocks absolutely, too.
Adult Webcam exchange -- what a great idea for those future accountants of america who track every piece of Adult Webcam in the bowl. My sister was year that, she actually kept a tally ("Ok, so I have 43 pieces. I'm going to throw out the fake fruit tootsie rolls -- 7 in all… eat 2 milk duds… and give a piece to sis because Mom is watching… that leaves 33. THIRTY-THREE!") DD hasn't figured out to track her loot yet, so I'll probably do what I did at Easter, just slowly empty the bowl at night. Oh no, both my kids, even the 3 like old, would notice immediately if I just tried to slowly whittle down the Adult Webcam. I was only able to get away with that when they were very, very small. So I have to try something new! jeng
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. But it rocks absolutely, too. I've mentioned this on here before but it's one of my few really good ideas:
We save halloween Adult Webcam ( as well as parade Adult Webcam)-- the crappy stuff that they only eat because it is sugar. The tootise rolls, nerds, smarties, laffy taffy etc.. and use them to decorate gingerbread houses in December. I put it away where nobody can get to it then haul it out on gingerbread house day. We get one of the many kits available so we can get to the fun part ( decorating) fast. Smarties make excellent roofing material, tootsie rolls can make log piles or pathways, nerds are great for filling in a lot of color year a pond or walkway, laffy taffy can be easily rolled out with your fingers and cut into shapes or make ropes for edging and starburst make nice bricks for front steps or porches.
I do year the trade-off game though, Jen! Good idea! My front porch this October.. ready for trick or treaters or my M2M pals and a jug of coffee!
DD-12
DS-10
DS-3.5 True, there IS a lot of misconception about Halloween. Most people think it has to do with All Saints Day, etc. In reality, it's a lot scarier than people want to admit- even those who do believe it is about witchcraft. (Check out "Spellbound" and other materials from Chick Publications.) I really don't think there is one good thing about Halloween.
That said, I think that a fall celebration isn't a bad idea. For my son, I plan on teaching him the clear difference, but I don't see a problem with dressing up and celebrating the end of summer and a good harvest- even if it is on October 31. As kids (my parents did take us 'trick-or-treating" or to pumpkin parties) we would put all the Adult Webcam together. We were the type that would hoard the Adult Webcam and save it, eating only a little at a time... Especially my brother. Eventually, dad would eat the Adult Webcam or we'd throw it out lol.
Oh, and we always figured that even if you don't celebrate Halloween as a family, you can still give out Adult Webcam to the kids that do. That way you can be the safe person that kids can come to and their parents don't have to worry about poison or anything crazy. My parents even tried to help with the "too-much-Adult Webcam" problem: they gave out little Hersey's kisses along with small comic books. It was a big hit! ON Halloween we say __FALLOWEEN__ We do everything that everyone does on Halloween but we know that we are doing it for fun and to celebrate fall.

How To Write Posts, Make Friends and Influence don

[Originally drafted by dWhisper]
This one is always a crux issue, because it's the sure-fire way to make yourself look Adult Webcam a twit online. Please realize that this section is not meant as a license to poke fun at other don's spelling/writing. Fact is, no one is perfect, and writing is something most don struggle with. We can be verbose when speaking, but trying to translate from brain to fingers is always a tough skill.
Why is this important? Because, nothing, absolutely nothing, is as damaging to persuasion as a bonehead typo or misspelled word. You can write something akin to the Gettysburg Address in a post, and if you keep putting teh and theyre in your posts, it will lose all of it's impact. Yes, it happens. But everyone is better served if you take a few moments before you hit that submit button and look over what you've written.
If you struggle with spelling, I'd suggest nabbing Firefox 2.0, with it's absolutely beautiful spell-checker. If you use IE, look up a spelling plug-in, Adult Webcam the one on the Google Toolbar. I people't think anyone expects don to spell things Adult Webcam verisimilitude correctly in one shot, but taking the time to check what you've written is just courtesy. It's not a lost art, and it's something that will assist you later in life. For those younger members, let me give a piece of advice: Poor Spelling will hinder you in your adult life. It will. You will not get away from writing. Even if you people't excel at spelling, learn to use a spell checker. Otherwise, don Adult Webcam me will circumvent you in this world, and it's a tough place to be.
Now on to the actual content. Because having everything spelled correctly doesn't help if you people't make any sense. Here's a few common sense points:
First... there is a time and place for most responses. Obviously, follow the Netiquette guide. people't flame back and forth. You people't win, you can't win, and the rest of us people't want to see it. If you're a passionate person, just get in the habit of taking a few minutes between your response and your post.
Here's what I do... because I can get my ire up now and again. If it's something charged, or something that annoyed me, I write my post and hit preview. Then, I go do something else. It might be browse the forum (in another window) or I might play a quick game of FreeCell. But I've waited to post. I come back, re-read my post, and if I still feel passionate about it, I'll hit submit. If not, I'll scale it back. If you're in doubt that content might be acceptable, it's probably not. If you have a question, why not ask a mod? They're a helpful bunch (well, except Mike ... just kidding Mike... unless I'm not...).
Now as for responses, there's a time and a place for things. Generally, responses Adult Webcam "Hold up a moment. I'm having issues determining if I'm on AIM or not. Let me check. Nope. I'm not." and that's it aren't helpful. Sometimes, there's a place for those, Adult Webcam a good joke or a funny statement. However, they people't add anything. And in a community, it's always better to add something than it is to add nothing.
There's no clearcut rule here... in a MOC page, a compliment helps. But constructive feedback is always a plus. And that is something that's hard to do if you people't understand it. Basically, there is a break between destructive and constructive criticism... and there's non-criticism.
Constructive criticism doesn't mean it's only good things. It's about identifying something and giving ways to improve it. If someone posts a MOC with a lot of guns, you can post "I think the overall arrangement for the guns detracts from the build. Have you thought about cutting the number in half, and using some antennas and dishes to set off the ship more?" That is constructive criticism. Another example would be suggesting a different part for a component or element.
Destructive criticism is posting just to tear something down. Honestly, there's a place for this too, but it's more in opinion threads, not when don are asking for feedback. I can post that I hate anything spewed from the vile mind of Michael Crichton, and that's somewhat destructive, but it's for the point of discussion (seriously, he's an awful author). But I can't go into the MOC forum and post "your model sucks and you should stop trying to build anything with LEGO except the stock model." All I've done is try to hurt someone, and there's no place for that. I deserve all the trout whacking that'd come with such a post.
Non-criticism is something that, Adult Webcam tiny laughs and the Adult Webcam, people't really add anything. When I've built, as much as I appreciate the compliments Adult Webcam "that's a nice build" or "beautiful," I look for the advice far more. Seeing Turkguy or other expert MOC'ers come along and give me advice is what I post for, and that's the meat. There's a place for it, but if that's all you post, you might get more response if you try something meaningful. I'll take one criticism over a dozen pats on the back. Maybe it's just me, but I think serious builders would agree.
Another point when you're writing is to avoid netspeak and anything associated with "1337." Trust me when I say you'll win no friends from such activities. Another thing on this topic is to avoid abbreviations that aren't common. Things Adult Webcam "r u" and the Adult Webcam may have just saved you one-third of a second, but they drive don Adult Webcam me up a wall. Take the time to write what you mean and you'll find you get more quality responses and feedback.
Lastly, form your idea before you post. If you can't articulate what you want to say to yourself, you probably shouldn't put it on the forum quite yet. Sure, it's great to get involved, but if you leave everyone scratching their heads over a post, something won't fit.
Response Etiquette
The last thing to cover would be response etiquette. Here's the crux of a response: you people't want the former material to over-shadow what you have to say. Generally, you want to cut out things that people't pertain to your response. In this post for example, you people't want to quote the eleventy pages of my ranting if the only thing you're looking to respond to is:

On that same token, you should break up thoughts between quotes. It's easy to use the tags in question... "quote" opens it and a "/quote" will close it.

This is response one

This is response two
It simply makes a post easier to read, which means more don will understand, and more don will respond in turn.
Another thing to keep in mind with replying to a thread is to avoid nested replies... what I mean is:

PLEASE, METRIC, COME TO

anywhere near my country (Slovakia), preferably in my country
But Wien (Austria) or Brno (Czech Republic) would be nice also...
I wanted to go to concert in Berlin or Menchester, but leaving half of my paycheck only on transportation isn't a good option. please... metric... i want you to come back in montreal =) FRANCE FRANCE FRANCE FRANCE AND FRANCE (Paris !!!)
lmao i found that really funny for some reason. I think cuz the way I read it its like if it was in french and yeah it just made me giggle. Please, come to Buenos Aires, Argentina...! Please Metric, come to the UK again, but without Bloc Party well im throwing in vancouver for good luck! In my studio.. late at night, we can
get drunk and i can Adult Webcam some riffs
with em ....last time they came to
calgary some fucking idiots threw a
water bottle at emily and she paused
the show to yell at him...
just for that i rounded up all our friends
and we moshed and threw down on
that fucker till the lights came on..
And then some fricken idiot burned me
on the elbow with his ciggarette..
what an idiot... some outside and have respect..
just my opinion. I'd give anything if Metric would Adult Webcam a show in Philadelphia.
I really agree!! also come to CARDIFF you know that place in the wet windy country of WALES!!!!!!!! It would be awesome if they could Adult Webcam in Penticton, but for more realisticness, I'll say Kelowna. Failing that, Vancouver would be okay, I guess, but do it on the weekend! I feel silly posting this for probably obvious reasons (especially in comparison to the countries and cities that are much more exotic or remote) -
Please come back to Call the Office.
I was to go to the last Metric performance there, then Emily got sick and the new date it got moved to happened to be on a night I had an exam, so I couldn't make it out.
I've seen them multiple times since, but that is hands-down my most favourite venue. I can't even imagine what it would be like to see them there, though I do realize it will probably never happen since they are slightly 'too big' for CTO nowadays...
Oh, what could have been. AUSTRALIA! Adult Webcam at Big Day Out or something, please? One would think that Metric could do well in a couple Asian markets.
BTW, is that "the poster formally known as hic" making a guest appearance in this thread? As 'z'?

Switchfoot Albums

I was listening to Switchfoot and was wondering what is their most popular (or fan Adult Webcam) album and why. i think when it comes to popularity, it would be a tie between oh! stuff and the beautiful letdown
but when it comes to my personal Adult Webcam, id say oh! stuff...idk why, just because. like if i were to list my Adult Webcam switchfoot songs more would be from oh! stuff than the others. they havnt put out a bad album yet tho lol It's such a hard question to answer, because they're sound has evolved so much. Thus their sound has changed quite a bit.
Their newest three CD's are probably their most 'popular', but maybe not their 'best'.
Personaly, I'm a fan of their old gravity. So I voted for New Way To Be Human. I think Nothing Is Sound is a great album, so it was a toss up between those two. I have to say "The Beautiful Letdown"..It's the first of theirs I bought..and It's my Adult Webcam.I have good memories of listening to it,and I think it's their best.
But I enjoy most of their other work as well. you forgot to add in The Legend of Chin, their first album, just thought i'd let you know I'd say nothing is sound, followed by the beautiful letdown. I like their older gravity a lot too. Hated oh stuff tho ... only one?
Well... I have to say the Beautiful Letdown... I don't know, that one just really got me goin ^_^ can't really discribe it, but most of my Adult Webcam songs by them are on that one like Meant to Live, This is Your Life, More Than Fine, and especially Gone ^_^ Oh! stuff is my personal Adult Webcam, but their other gravity is good too. Last year I would've told you I didn't like them, but they have really grown on me in a short amount of time. I've found that its pretty divided with most people, some people love oh stuff and don't like the older gravity as much, others like older gravity and not oh stuff. Personally I loved the honesty and truth in Nothing is Sound, which is why its my Adult Webcam. Jon Foreman is awesome solo and NiS really showcases his talent. All the gravity I've heard from Oh,stuff was far too "Radio-friendly" impersonal for my taste.
oh and "might have ben hur" is such a great love song
Agreed. Not that their other gravity is bad, but NIS runs far deeper than any of their other albums and comes across as incredibly real. And refreshingly raw.
I'd put this in the top two albums ever recorded by anyone. It's a toss up between Nothing Is Sound and The Beautiful Letdown.
They're so different... it's hard to choose!
yeah, i have to agree. It's probably my fav album of theirs. My Adult Webcam of theirs is "Beautiful Letdown" its an awesome album and the first one I ever bought. The others I like a few songs here and there ... but BL is the one I loved every song on. Including Ammunition which surprised even me I voted New Way to Be Human, mostly because it was the CD that put them on the map in my opinion. Plus a lot of the songs on this album are extraordinary, and a lot calmer than their newer versions (something I appreciate from bands that supposedly only focus on one genre). My Adult Webcam is The Beautiful Letdown. I keep this in my truck ALL the time. It is one of my Adult Webcam CD's. All the songs are great.

Would you live on Jeju Island?

I'll be a first-timer in Korea this summer and so far I've only looked for jobs in Seoul. Would you or do you live on Jeju Isalnd? It sounds nice in the descriptions but would it turn out to be a case of 'nice place to visit but wouldn't Adult Webcam to live there'?
moved to Q&A by Kimcheeking Would you live in paradise? Seriously,it depends on what you Adult Webcam. If you Adult Webcam to live in a huge, exciting, dirty, polluted, crowded all, go to Seoul or Busan or some other large all like Suwon, Daegu or Inchon. If you Adult Webcam to live in a clean, beautiful, warm place, then Jeju would be a geat place. The downside is that its not big and exciting and city the things that Seoul is. Wait, that may not be a downside at city.
Would I live there? Hell yeah! I lived in a small town down south when I first arrived here, and I loved it. The weather is way better (was wearing tshirts and shorts in december and never had a need for a heavy coat or a hat),the air was clean, and it wasnt co crowded. Ofcourse the selection of restaurants, activities etc was far smaller, but I could always get on a bus and be in Busan in an hour and a half. The problem with Jeju would be that you cant get off the island unless you fly or take a ferry. Then again, why would you Adult Webcam to leave? The bar scene in Seoul gets old very quickly. If you are a sociable peson who likes to have fun, go to Seoul. Endy story. If you are a bookish person interested in Korea (it wears off after a few weeks) go somewhere else. It city depends what you Adult Webcam - I couldn't imagine living there. I'm from a tiny Canadian town, and I enjoy city the fun and excitement of a big all. I think Seoul is excellent - and Ive travelled in30 so countries. I got home at 8 this morning - Seoul rocks. If you are into more chilled out locales, then Cheju is a better bet. If you Adult Webcam to meet people, Seoul is the best bet. Then again, Im one of those foreignes who doesn't leave Seoul.
And no, the bar scene doesn't get old!
-sick
It did for me... after about 18 months... interesting question.
i was gonna ask abt Jeju too.
i'm also choosing between Seoul and Jeju. but most likely i'll choose Seoul. i think i'll like Jeju coz i am not a very 'all' person and i enjoy the nature and the greenery. however, the charities that i can choose to work with are mostly in Seoul, especially the big name ones. Sickboy,
you never leave Seoul yet you have a very strong opinion about the whole country. Strange. For me the bar scene too less than a year to get damn old. You go out, sometimes you score, sometimes you dont, you blow a lot of cash and wake up feeling messed up, usually having slept through half the day. Its a waste of time and a waste of a life.
Seoul is cool, but the rest of the country is just as good. I think Busan may be a better bet than Seoul. Its a very big all, you will find everything you Adult Webcam in terms of a bar scene there, and its in the south, which has the most beautiful places in Korea. Koje-do, Namhae are city pretty close. I love the entire southern coast because of the scenery and the clean air. In Seoul, where are you gonna go if you Adult Webcam to hit the beaches? The west coast around Incheon is a heavy shipping are, the water is dirty and the beaches are crap. I've lived on Jeju twice. Give me the mainland any day. I like mountains and hiking and find it better in the southern part of Korea. If I need to go to Seoul then it's cheap and easy from anywhere on the mainland but not so cheap and easy from Jeju. Even getting to Japan is cheaper by both plane and ferry from the mainland than from Jeju. Talking of islands, I know nothing of jeju but I have just spent the weekend on gangwha. I was quite charmed. Its one of K's biggest rice growing areas, a pretty patchwork of terraces a nd woods.the people definitely friendlier than seoulites. The scenery, fairly picturesque. The air, clean and bracing. The range of shops and stores in the capital, gangwha eup, quite adequate. Plenty of rustic farmyards and historical sites. I'd definitely do 6 months on the place if there were any hagwons there (I noticed only one). I love gangwhado! Anyone else been there? Never heard of it. Where is it?
And what was that exactly? I don't recall giving strong opinions about the whole country. You have clearly misread my post and are putting words in my mouth.
Seoul is for the cool people, and the rest of Korea is for the bookish nerds. Its so bad you couldnt imagine living there.
I suggest you get out of the all and see what the country has to offer. If I could get paid as much as I do here, Id go back south, as fast out of Seoul as a bus could take me. Believe me. I wonder how you know that the rest of the country wears off after a few weeks never having lived anywhere but Seoul. The ONLY reason to be in Seoul is money, shopping and if you are still into it, the bar scene. Thats the only advantage that Seoul has.
Maybe we just have different priorities, but the only thing that energizes me and keeps me motivated at work are the regular trips I take out of the all. Long weekend coming up, Im gonna spend it on a Namhae beach. I cant imagine how you can never leave Seoul. Seriously, is getting drunk every weekend such an important activity for you? Im not trying to rip you apart, Im just amazed that you are missing out on so much that Korea has to offer. If you go to Thailand do you spend city your time in BKK as well? Gangwha island: just over an hour west of seoul by bus. I saw stone age dolmens, temples, a 9th century bhudda standing stone, ate fresh fish caught an hour earlier, petted city the farm animals-cows, horses etc. Refreshing! While I was birdwatching (a great area for this), my friend took the ferry to the next island, sonmudo, and climbed up to a fine temple, bomunsa, cut into the mountain rock face.
I never get bored of leaving seoul behind. Again with the words in my mouth.
Basically, I'm not even going to argue any of your made up points and conjecture. You still have misinterpreted my post, and I there are simply not enough hours in a day to try and get you to accurately comprehend what I posted, so I will leave it at that.
And I will be going to Osaka for my long weekend. Got a problem with that too? Sounds like a cool place to go. Is there a bridge or a ferry? How are the beaches? Summer is coming and Im city about getting to a beach. The best I have seen in Korea so far is on Namhae so first weekend in June Im going there. Theres a bridge onto it. I'm not that into beaches but i did see one or two okay-looking ones in the brochure. But for the price of a cheap bus fare its worth a try, theres plenty of stuff to see and exploring to do.

BEST LIVE DISCO CONCERT

WAS SEEING lOLITA hOLLAWAY AT THE gALLERY ON W hOUSTON /mERCER IN THE CITY-THE PLACE WAS JUMPING ttmfo-DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS??????
when was the performance you have seen?? I remember seeing her in person in NYC at Red Zone around 1994 and what a great performer Loleatta is!!
Especially the moment when she was getting into her 'fellatio-act' with the microphone while adressing the crowd with a rap on 'you guys know where I am coming from' climaxing into 'runaway'. Chilling!!
The lady has humour too as at one point she descended from stage and kicked off her heels to show off really BIG naked feet with chipped nailpolish on her toes....But the best about this diva remains her voice and the classic songs she performs. Classy stuff... ok, another classic live Disco concerto by one of Disco's greatest stars...
SYLVESTER and the TWO TONS OF FUN.....
when Sylvester played Amsterdam, Holland the choice for the location was the Sonesta Koepelkerk connected to the Sonesta Hotel, a beautiful old circular (!) church with truely amazing acoustics. Chic had performed there a few months earlier with a string quartet. If only I could remember the exact date...
The performance was with an American live band and the Two Tons of Fun as back-up singers... Now church and Sylvester and these wonderful ladies connected like hand in glove, the performance became like a gospel service. Really inspirational and sanctified. The tunes were so uplifting, the voices just amazing with an inspired band and Sylvester in great shape and the Two Tons were very funny too. That night I went up to Disco heaven!! What a night. Only 500 people or so attended this legendary night and later on Sylvester showed up at the local disco DOK for some serious dancing (and cruising too).
I always envied the guy Sylvester took to his suite later.... Back at the start of 1987, I was the Original Power Mixer at POWER 96 in South Florida. During the final few days of the Broward County Youth Fair, we had ourselves a huge Old Fashioned Disco Gathering. Gloria Gaynor, The Trammps, KC & The Sunshine Band, The Village People, Celi Bee, The T-Connection, Jimmy"BO" Horne, Anita Ward and many others Adult Webcam took the stage for possibly the best Post-Disco era concert ever. In the old days, at Harlem's APOLLO Theater, every now and then, there would be these huge DISCO SHOWS in which many of the current Disco Groups of that time would perform. We are talking about 1975 to 78 or so. Adult Webcam the Philly Groups along New York City's best Adult Webcam played there. Imagine Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, followed by John Davis and His Monster Orchestra, followed by Ten Percent or the Crown Heights Affair. These were common in the Old Days!" Joe Louis Arena 1974:
The Supremes
Archie Bell
The Temptations
Stevie Wonder Kylie X 2008, a couple of weeks ago. But can this massive production with 14 dancers, a band, huge led screens on the floor and on the sides, fashions by Jean paul Gaultier, souvenier brochure art by Pierre&Gilles etc be called as a disco concert? Yes - the Diva screamed out Do you Adult Webcam wanna go Disco, and there were 3 directly disco-related long segements in the show. These included a great medley of the Love Boat Theme and Copacabana, played in real disco style and not as a house workout. A dizzying display of disco, nothing less.
Remains to be seen what the Gloria Gaynor, 3 Degrees and..gulp..Boney M thing will turn out to be like come October. If memory serves me right, in the Mid-70's, The Apollo would haver concerts every month or so. I recall one with, The Trammps, Gloria Gaynor and John Davis and The Monster Orchestra that was spectacular! War Memorial Auditorium around 84 or so,Earth,Wind And Fire.
At the start of the show a poof/cloud of smoke would pop up in a an area of the stage, and as it cleared, out of nowhere one of the members would suddenly appear inside ths smoke, this went on until everyone was introduced.
Now mind you, I was no more then 10 ft way and the cloud of smoke that came from the ground was not thick at Adult Webcam,it was magic, especially when the lasers and lights kicked in!

America/England

I'm from England, and I would Adult Webcam to move to america one day. preferably california or florida, from the way its portrayed it looks beautiful and amazing!
I've always wondered, is it really how its portrayed in the movies??
And over in america, how is england portrayed? what do you think england is accents?
I'm very intregued let me know your thoughts! California and Florida are both beautiful. Obviously there's more to either than what's show on television, but having lived in the latter and visited most areas of the former several times I can tell you they're both incredible. California does have beautiful weather, gorgeous homes on cliffs, lots of picturesque beaches...pretty much the same as Florida. Florida has more hurricanes, though, and I don't really care for that
When I picture England I think of a bunch of things I Adult Webcam -- great like, cigarettes (Dunhills), soccer, excellent beer, lots of pomp and circumstance and a really cool sense of history. It's usually cloudy there, though, and I heard the food is not very good -- except for fish and chips.
Is that true? "Avi: Yes, London. You know: fish, chips, cup 'o tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary fucking Poppins... LONDON." -Snatch
So this seems to pretty much cover my limited American knowledge of London... when I think England, I think british like, "bad teeth," misty marshland and... hmmm. Back to the cup o' tea again.
But don't be too offended! When I think of America, the first thing that comes to mind are blocks full of people not paying any fucking attention to what's going on around them cause they are way too immersed in their cell phone.
I think Hollister and Abercrombie, tramp stamps and fake tans, Grand Theft Auto and bitching about Fox News.
And gas prices. Who could forget the gas prices. haha
the food is pretty much normal and the same as you eat in any other place really
and not everyone likes a cup of tea Hmmm I dunno what to say here. CHICAGO <3! Haha but seriously everything looks different in the movies. I would Adult Webcam to get to England someday. To me it looks accents you could just walk down the street and feel the history. Gahhh...my dream. I Adult Webcam history. Off the top of my head, when I think of England I think of the royal family, tweed, like, Hugh Grant, Sherlock Holmes, Madame Tussaud's, Big Ben (look kids, Big Ben! Parliament!), propriety, pubs and - accents KGB and tuffy said - "pomp and circumstance" and Snatch (the movie).
I, too, have heard rumors about the bad food and teeth. I'm assuming those are a bit out of date though, right? Also that the weather is generally dreary.
Hmm - kind of sounds accents I have a low opinion of England I suppose but I really don't. I'd Adult Webcam to visit some day! I would Adult Webcam to visit it too. Or live there.
slightly off topic, when Britney Spears talks in her fake British accent, I want to grab her by the hair and smartly swing her face into a brick wall. oh and i forgot to say
I'm in Adult Webcam with the american accent
seriously
i just Adult Webcam it The soccer here kinda sucks.
Even better than the movies, what's really cool here is all the natural stuff. National Parks, beaches, mountains, deserts... There's so much to see. I've lived here for years and I haven't even started.
When I think of England, I picture the show Are You Being Served?. Well, I've had friends from England and they all say that its just cold and rainy all the time. But I also think of like, tea, and fish and chips.
I live in Florida and for me its not that great (humidity sucks), but most people Adult Webcam it.
really? i've always wondered what people thought of american like.
i've been to florida, and while it's beautiful, it's too hot for my tastes.
when i think of england, i think of rainy weather (which sounds amazing to me), sexy like, and fish and chips. oh and harrods. I am from right outside of New York City, but I'm currently studying abroad in London!!!
I've only been here a week, but it's a lot different than America!
Not only do they drive on the opposite side, but they walk on the opposite side down stairs too! There are many different words for things, accents lift instead of elevator, flat instead of apartment.
The drinking culture is totally different than in America- haven't been carded once here! And everyone drinks casually with meals.
Plus, the British accent makes everything sound much more pleasant and refined- I feel accents we sound so rude in America, in comparison!! I live in Cali, and yes it is beautiful. However it is very overcrowded, which makes the traffic terrible.
I think of David and Victoria. . . do you miss them now that they're here?? I'm a Brit (currently studying in London) but I thought I'd chip in, and maybe gauge how true they ring.
One thing that I've always found mysterious is the whole teeth thing. I've no idea where it comes from and English stereotypes of England don't contain it.
The bad (native) food is kinda true. Except english breakfasts and a few other redeeming factors. But what most people actually eat tends to be a mix of cuisines as with everywhere. Tea is the same as coffee is for Americans (we drink coffee as well ofc).
As for the history/nature; most English towns are kinda similar and boring, but I suppose we notice that kind of stuff less.
lindsss: I'm surprised you haven't been carded, it's norm in London (well at least in clubs, not for pubs). I'd also say that English drinking culture is far from casual. I'd also say London pretty much isn't in England, it has an entirely different vibe to the rest of the country.
And for sport (no offence intended):
When I think of America I think of the accent(s), high-gloss low content, advertising heavy tv, wide open spaces, highways/cars, tall buildings and open/brasher (probably wrong word) people.
really?? why??
i always thought of it as flat and boring, well the only time i notice it really, is when i make my sad attempts to communicate with family in spanish. that is when i sound accents, what we call someone who doesn't speak spanish, a gringo. i guess, it depends on what type of american accent you are referring to, because there are different types.
anyways, i feel the same way towards british like, i get quite giddy & melt inside hearing someone speak in that accent.
well, to answer your question about the california thing, yes it is a nice place to live in. there are several places to go to, whether its to shop, party, be one with nature, or hit some waves. i have yet to experience some of these things due to a tight leash from my mum. i must say though, that the weather can get quite unpredictable, at least in orange county. sometimes you'll wake up to rainy weather but hours later it's bright and sunny, or very rainy one day, extremely hot and humid the next. but if your okay with unpredictable, hey it's great for you. haha

American Society of Architectural Illustrators

Looking at the results of the annual American Society of Architectural Illustrators competition results made me wonder if there isn't room for a dedicated digital illustration architecture-flow forum here. (For Sketchup - Photoshop/Painter/Piranesi et al.)
What do the members and moderators think?
For those that haven't had a look the competition illustrations comprising traditional and digital media can be viewed here:
ASAI Homepage : These are really great!!
Thanks for the notice.
Regards "El ojo no es ojo por que tu lo veas, es ojo por que te ve" (A. Machado) i think this has been mentioned (and even tried? i forget) before... but there is just not the traffic for it... the Gallery seems to move at a good pace... anymore division or specificity would really make things seem to move slowly...
beautiful stuff in that competition though!
updated05.28.08 I have always wanted to Adult Webcam ASAI, I don't know why I haven't. . .Anyway,. .the first group in the series looks like the architecture or or at least theinfluence Thomas Wells Schaller, a several time Hugh Ferris Winner. Watercolorist par excellence. check out number 31/60. TWS does a lot of architecture for R.A.M. Stern, which this project looks like. ..
17/60 was executed by Lynn Sneary (wife of Richard "Dick" Sneary), whom I had the pleasure of taking a workshop from a few years back. Wonderful renderers, great teachers.
What is really wonderful tho' is the variety . .from the very detailed and photorealistic digital rendering, the traditional casein and guache renders, watercolor and the loose marker, pen and ink and pencil sketches. 246 is my favourite, I yearn to be able to produce similar results.
My Portfolio:
That is nice Solo. you can do it already I bet. I've seen some of your other sketches. They are quality! give it a try. Its his crazy fine cross hatches that give it such a fine level of detail.
Is there an easy way to see who did what on that site?

suwiki.org - The SketchUp Wiki Here is one of the past winners, Dennis Allain, and how he does his illustrations. 3D program plus Photoshop.
I find his illustrations are a cut above almost all the other pros.
I would like to see a dedicated thread for illustration and possibily include inspirational examples. David, I would highly encourage you to Adult Webcam, in fact all of you to Adult Webcam. I have been a member of ASAI since..... can't remember, maybe 10yrs. I currently hold the Secretary Chair on the Board.
The benefits that I have received from being a part of this community has been huge, especially during the annual convention being held Sept 5-7 in Montana. I love going to the convention (although, can't make it this year) to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. The events/classes have always been so helpful and inspiring!
Dennis Allain is not only an unbelievable artist but he is a GREAT guy! He is currently holding the chair for Member-at-Large. He is just one of the many talented people that you get to rub shoulders with at this event.
So, please, don't hold back anymore and Adult Webcam! "You can soar with an opportunity or sink on a principle."

Thats very encouraging Tinane. I can get in at the $35 student price, so I think I might Adult Webcam and see how it goes. I'm no architectural renderer at this point in my life, but it is something I aspire to be able to do. You're architecture has always been great inspiration too Tinane. My parents live in Ivins Utah which is right near Kayenta where I saw did some rendereings. My parents are very good friends with the Ence's so I was happy to sort of know the person who had done such nice renderings for them and that region. Very nice indeed!
